P4 Theater was founded in 2015. I came into contact with drama production in 2013. At that time, I participated in a friend's play called "My Poor Marat". At that time, I was deeply attracted by the form of drama. I also watched "Rhinoceros in Love" when I was in college, but my impression was very weak. I only remember the water covering the stage, the tied woman, and a big snake circling above. I forgot all about the rest.
I am a very introverted person. I have been a marginal person since I was a child. I am not gregarious and have never been a class leader. I have poor grades and don't like to show off, and I have never been in the limelight. In my memory, I only understood what it feels like to be in the spotlight after being publicly humiliated by teachers a few times when I didn't do my homework or was caught cheating. I don't like reciting, and I hate doing meaningless things over and over again, so I fell in love with painting. I still remember that when I was learning to draw a ball, I could spend a whole day drawing the edge of the ball. I kept cutting it until it matched the circle in my mind.

I spent the fourth grade of elementary school at a relative's house, and they were kind to me, but living away from my mother still made me feel a different kind of loneliness. She would come visit me every weekend. After we left, I would lie on the window and look through the iron bars to watch her turn right at the entrance of the corridor and disappear. Once, I secretly dug out an old book called "The Unsolved Mysteries of the World" from my uncle's glove cabinet. I never read a book and was sucked in. From then on, this book has been in my school bag and I read it over and over again. It talks about all kinds of strange people and strange things, about the whole universe, about special powers, and about the multi-dimensional world. One night, I saw blue lights flashing outside the window. I was nervous, excited and scared. Finally, I comforted myself that it might just be the reflection of the glass, and fell asleep.
Later, when I became an art student and entered the Academy of Fine Arts, I chose photography as my major and took pictures all day long, but I was not good at photographing people. When I raised the camera, the subject was afraid, and so was I. During my four years in college, I only focused my camera on landscapes and streets. I was afraid of humans. Each mask made me feel strange and alienated. When I pressed the shutter, I captured only hypocrisy, not reality. It wasn't until 2013 when I broke up with my girlfriend who I'd been dating for three years in college that I finally understood. What is love.
I have a new kind of perception. When the switch is turned on, I can emit or receive various magical fluctuations. It was only then that I understood what photography was and gradually understood the image behind the mirror. When you open yourself up, it will come towards you. The rotation of two people is no longer one person, but they are rotating together. It is an understanding that transcends words. It is acceptance and transmission that become unhindered, like new life, like swimming, like a devil falling in love with an angel, like a dragon hearing a voice.
P4 Theater is the beginning of rotation, with the desire to realize all dreams, to rotate with everything in it, to try to dance with everything, and to produce reverberation. Variations, rests, tremors, legato, polyphony, random beats, harmonies, cuts, all the condiments imaginable are thrown in and stewed to create the future I want, and let the dream shine into reality. Now, it has been 8 years, countless dreams have been created and countless dreams have been shattered. Every soul is looking for companions and excitement here. Of course, it will also face destruction and blows. Disappointment, failure, regret, melancholy, anger, and sadness are becoming more and more normal. "Reality" will always hit this trembling bubble again and again, making the sting of narcissism grow sharper, making the armor thicker, making the mask in the mirror more ferocious, making "I" cannot lose and must become the king of others.
The bubble is very fragile, but it takes a lot of effort to maintain it. I woke up from a dream and decided to make a movie called "Human Surrender". This has been my wish for many years, but it told me in my dream that I must realize it. What is a movie? What am I? And this time, where does the camera have to go?
Yudes returned to Beijing from other places and had to come to the 510 office as soon as he got off the train. Yun Jianhui borrowed a friend's movie camera, and the twins skillfully used ChatGPT to translate the article. I also easily made up a legend about Free Wind: She was watching us there, caring about us, and she knew every move we made. She promised us that as long as we continue to persevere and produce good works, there will be a lot of investment, and then we will all live a happy life. I was pretending to be in the interview, and my lies that were too clumsy made reality look extra realistic.
There is no money and no audience, only self-entertainment and self-admiration, as well as idle moaning and mystique, yes, yes, plus a dead look and wasted effort. This stupid idea just keeps rolling into the endless abyss in strange swings. This is Human Surrender. Only when you put yourself into the story you stir, everything begins to come to life. Just like what Judith said to the camera, this is not a movie, this is not a drama, this is a thing. This sentence still inspires me to continue telling the story of "Human Surrender". I feel very strongly that my destiny is co-rotating with this thing, and it is still summoning a kind of vitality, just like I will definitely meet you on the 26th.
"The Last Rehearsal" is a cultural and art exchange event that combines drama performances, performance art, sound scenes, and art installations. The performance that night will last for more than an hour. We are very much looking forward to the interactive participation with the audience throughout the process, which will also be photographed and recorded throughout, and will eventually be included in the "Human Surrender" movie.

The performance on August 26th is a once-in-a-lifetime performance. I hope you and we can spend a wonderful night and experience the wonderful life experience that art brings to us. The performers this time are all written on the poster. If you want to know more information, you can follow the public account P4 Theater.

Of course, the filming and rehearsal of the real "Human Surrender" movie are quite exciting and surprising, and the movie will be completed after the performance of "Last Rehearsal" on the 26th. First of all, I must thank the three extremely talented actors who finally performed "Last Rehearsal" on the 26th, Huang Meng, Jia Rui and Xu Shuai. Knowing them is the biggest gift for me as P4 Theater. Thank you for their trust and support in me. This kind of love is transcendent. There is also photographer Yun Jianhui. He is one of the earliest initiators and has always shouldered the important responsibility of photography. Unfortunately, he missed some wonderful co-created moments due to work reasons in the later stages of the shooting. Zhou Jinsong and Liu Jinqi were also the first two people to participate in the concept of the film. While they were doing most of the recording tasks, they also provided creative ideas, wrote scripts, and were deeply involved in the production. Although they are young, they are very independent. I hope to see their own works as soon as possible. It is a pity that actor Liao Wei was unable to participate in the later rehearsals due to work transfer. I look forward to more cooperation with him in the future. This time, Rumeng showed his superb professionalism as a music producer for the capitulationists, and will perform a live sound performance together on the 26th. As the behind-the-scenes prototype of many characters, Zhao Xuan often performs on stage to bring inspiration to us. This time she will attend the performance with her voice. Xiang Binbin, Wu Jingqian, and Li Zeyang play various challenging roles in the movie, and their energy and unlimited potential can be felt during the rehearsal. Zhao Ziyi is a rising star in the noise world and I am very much looking forward to his live noise performance that day. Of course, I will write more articles and edit videos to detail the history of "Human Surrender" in the future. Since the space this time is really limited, there are too many people to thank. They are, You Deshi, Kru Paoyang, Xie Yipeng, Cao Jiansong, Zhang Yuting, Jiang Jialin, Xu Jinjiang, Liu Jian, Yong, Xiao Li, Guo Qian, Dapao, Barbara, thank you, thank you! Finally, I would like to thank our venue, the Shandong Fish Bookstore for its strong support, and Zimu and Huang Li.
PS: It should be noted that the filming and production of this film is not the familiar film crew shooting model in the past, but an in-depth co-creation production. There is no very clear division of labor and employment relationship between us. Everyone's responsibilities in this incident are also constantly flowing and changing. Actors can become directors, photographers can become actors, recorders are also actors, and performers are also observers.
Any daily sentence may become the most wonderful line. Through our daily dialogue, we will penetrate each other into each other's hearts to collide, perceive and experience. The entire crew is definitely not the kind of rigid task mode where actors recite lines and complete shots over and over again, and then wait for the "dictator" director to call cut. Instead, everyone goes on adventures in nature to explore a deep connection that transcends social symbols, to explore a way to resist unpredictable crises and changes in the future, and to call for a circuit that can re-establish trust and love.
