Order is a necessary tool for the transition of religion from a primitive cult to organized collective worship, and acceptance of a pretentious one is acceptance of a taboo; and rational logic and the game of primitive religions have produced Protestantism with far-reaching implications for future generations, and the inclusion of reason in religious thinking is a remedy for the precarious status of Christianity. The three beggars' predictions in the film, however, contradicted the scene of the birth of Jesus in the New Testament, and these sharp symbols reflected the director's attitude to Christianity and its extension, which is the most intuitive of the film.

In one of the most philosophical works, Ras Vonthil has put the two themes of sexuality and religion to extremes, and it is in extreme and cross-border situations that real thinking can take place; and it is in the midst of "unacceptable" and "unsafe" audiences, in other words, of emotional oppression, that it is better to find out what lies behind this "unacceptable" and to reflect on whether that so-called "security" is nothing but an illusion.

"I've been very depressed for two years, and I don't know what to think, or I don't think about anything. That's when the film was made, inspired by my own feelings, thoughts and fears. I make movies to express a fear that is close to the real darkness, not to let them feel what is inside me." The director released all the depressions and irritations of the two years of schizophrenia into Antichrist. In the film, Lars returned to his early obsession with visual skills, without losing the simplistic and powerful drama of Dogtown. So this film is a turning point in his career as director.
