I have known Zichou for almost a year. He was born in 2001 and just graduated from college this year. His real name is Xu Shuai, but he named himself Zichou. His university major was stage art, but he couldn't find any related job at all.
He wrote several scripts this year. Some scripts were rejected, some were discarded, and some were misappropriated. Until this play, it was originally called "Burning the Moon." Later, because it had the same name as a play by a certain theater troupe, an official letter was issued, and now it is renamed "(Broken Moon)."

He rarely smiles, and his expression is usually dull, but his heart is full of emotion. It was when he played the capitulator that I was most moved, because the light seeping out from the gaps was even more precious. Using one's own life to perform is the bravest thing, especially to bring out the most vulnerable things in oneself.
The first time he came to participate in p4 was the project of "The Wind and Waves", and later he participated in "Four Eyes", "The Kingdom of Happiness", and finally participated in "Human Surrender" and "The Last Rehearsal". In drama, it is a place where he can still breathe. He said that he did not know what Aalto's cruel drama was, but he was fascinated by it.

He failed to pass the postgraduate entrance examination, and his first love was a patient with depression. He told me two days ago that he doesn't know how to love anymore, and now he can only treat the person he loves most in the coldest and cruelest way. I am eleven years older than him, and sometimes he disappears suddenly without transition, leaving only his back.
Where is the love? What is cruelty to me? We'll find out the answer to this during the performance on December 16th. I firmly believe that drama can give us something, and love is definitely not an empty discussion. We have long been accustomed to the inability to express love and the inability to express love.

What does the Burning Moon burn? When I take a picture of Zi Chou, what appears is the Zi Chou moon. Is it a cold stone or a distant dream? We are locked into this dungeon of the human world and can only rely on projection to identify the truth. It is ridiculous and sad at the same time. The so-called "rationality" is nothing but lazy inertia, and no one wants to smash anything.
The stone rolled down from the top of the mountain again and again and fell into the same pit again and again, but this was not the curse of Sisyphus. What makes humans transcend all things is that we always have to transpire upward and break free from those shackles and shackles, even if we destroy everything eternal in the world. People will die before they are reborn.

The play on No. 16 is a practice that completely escapes from any established formal system. It does not need to be labeled with any decadent names at all. Those dirty tricks cannot be compared with this. We are writing history, writing about things that have never happened. The stones will be broken into pieces, and the light of hope will be reinterwoven in the gaps. Love will not die.
Rehearsals for the entire troupe are arduous and challenging. The changes in personnel and the mix of time make everyone feel as if they are on Medusa's attack. It is precisely because of this that a strange force tightly binds everyone's fate together. The broken moon is the breath coming from the deep sea, and it is also everyone's courage to rush towards the high hanging things.
