On 17 November, several Chinese high school students attacked and insulted four black girls on the Philadelphia subway in the United States. You can hear them yelling "f*ing China" and "china chicken" and so on. Here's a song I wrote about the Chinese-English Rap against the current situation of Asian-American discrimination.

I can no longer stay silent for slurs hurled at my race

We are Asian so we are supposedly addicted to Louis Vuitton and iPhones

We are Asian so we supposedly occupy the 1% materially
We're Asian, so we're all supposed to be 1% of the richest.
We are Asian so we are supposedly only good at numbers, staying silently backstage and ignored by the spotlight
We're Asians, so we should be good at numbers, ignored behind the stage, and let other people have it.
We are Asian so we are supposedly meek
We're Asian, so we should be gentle.
We are Asian so we are supposed to be physically weak
We're Asian. That's why we have to be physical. Weak
We are Asian so we are supposedly down to be bullied
We're Asian, so we should be bullied.
We are Asian so we are supposedly silent and docile
We're Asian, so we should be quiet and tamed.
Just like the Jews in Europe for two thousand years before the holocaust
It's all right, just like before the Holocaust, what the Jews had done in Europe for 2,000 years.
Being systematically discriminated and treated with institutionalized hatred, the only medal we've got is the title "model minority"
The entire system of society is discriminating against us, and hatred against us has become a social mechanism. The only consolation award we get is the title of the Model Minority.
As if no strike no demonstration and remaining nonresistant would guarantee our safety
It seems that if we don't protest or resist, we will be safe.
Model minority doesn't naturally grant us Asian privilege or Asian excellence, whatever we got, we work twice as hard
As a "model ethnic minority", we Asians do not automatically receive "Asian privileges" nor do we automatically achieve "Asian high achievements". We've worked twice as hard to get something like everyone else.
Our compliant Asian workforce make this country hum while you devalue our effort
This country operates on our submissive Asian labor force, yet you devalue our efforts.
And we are used as an excuse by the establishment to not to provide social assistance to black and Latino
The United States doesn't provide adequate social assistance to blacks and Latinos, and uses our Asians as an excuse to do so.
But just do make clear who hammer the wedge, who create the racial division and social apartheid?
But let's get this straight, who is responsible for racial division and apartheid?
Being black doesn't grant you rights to bully others
You're black. It doesn't mean you have the right to bully others.
Is this as far as Black Lives Matter eventually got you?
Is this what the Black Bloods taught you?
If you want to find people to blame just pinpoint correctly the target and hit in the bullseye
If you're trying to find a way out of your miserable life, just get your target and hit the target.
Just be clear we played no part in slavery trade

You may argue we had no part to play in American history as portrayed in mainstream media
You may say that we Asians are not part of your American history, because the mainstream media say so.
But who built the transcontinental railroad connecting New England with California, paving foundation for your Pacific supremacy?
But who established the Pacific Railway, linking the American East and West together, so that the United States would have Pacific hegemony?

We Asians and other minorities are victims as well
