On 20 April 1986, in the concert hall of the Moscow Academy of Music, 82-year-old Russian pianist Vladimir Holowitz played the first few notes of Dreams on the piano keyboard - with this move, all memories and emotions were put to an orgasm. He's been at home for 60 years.

At a time when US-Soviet relations were strangling because of the Syrian issue, Horowitz connected to the concert hall and all those who watched the performances, both inside and outside, with " Dreams " in a song of Shumann ' s Childhood Vision.
Nostalgia, affectionateness, tenderness, and no one is allowed to move on. Separate, opposing and alienated individuals recognize each other in their music, find emotional ties, feel isolated and become a common experience, in which people find belonging.
New York columnists at the other end of the screen felt the same teardrop as Soviet citizens in the concert hall. At this moment, the ideological, geographic distance, language, class, sex and age divides between the two men were completely eliminated, and they were connected and resonated in the music. Together, they bear witness to the present day ' s history, with zero-distance contact at the spiritual level.
This emotional resonance also happens to everyone who is touched by the sound of the piano, inside and outside the concert hall, and who is no longer an indifferent, unconnected single body, but who is able to recognize one another in the same context. They are connected, united, united.

The thought of such behaviour and of being present allows us to emerge from the limits of reason and norms on human beings and to present ourselves as a freer and independent individual from the ideological perspective of idealism and theory.
