I've been living with a dog for a few days, and she's called a baby, a stray dog my friend adopted. It's not too bad to spend the first day with her, not yelling that I didn't bite me, except for the hard pull that she won't walk home. The next day, I found her lying in a corner, indifferent to her, starving to shit, and ignoring her. The first time I saw a dog so quiet, I sent her a picture of her dog's grief, her master returned to me, "She's the way she is, she's the one who shuts herself up and has a reason to wander before." When I walked at night, I found that she would not leave when she saw the other dogs, and when the other dogs came up, she ran away. I think she was still in shock, and then I saw the other dogs taking her away.
In the days that followed, I held her head every day to talk, sing, make fun of her, shout at her, kill her with my hands and feet and pretend to run after her. I want her to know that I'm not an employee of the pet store and I'm responsible for feeding you every day. But she didn't even talk to me.
Our relationship changed on the fifth day, and I beat her through the trash. At the door, I ignored her. I cooked her an egg half an hour later. She yelled at another dog on the sixth day, and I was so happy and surprised that she and her master shared the news that she wasn't dumb! On the seventh day she started talking to me, and I came home and sat on the couch, and for the first time she came to me and licked my hand and let me touch her. On the eighth day, my relationship with her changed dramatically, and she would come to me on her own initiative, and she would come out with a joke when I opened the door, waiting for me to be taken back.
Today is the ninth day and she's coming back to her master. She's not so self-contained anymore.
