Create an area of practice and action where everyone can express themselves more freely by "seeing", "playing", "shooting" into life.
Let the dream come true.

What is it?
Valuable photos.
1.1 What's a valuable photo?
We've been thinking about what kind of photo is valuable and what it should look like if a person takes only one picture in his life.
Real Image, from painting to photography to psychology to drama, has been exploring how to make the most true record of a person.
We've taken too many pictures in our long life: document pictures, graduation photos, wedding photos, artistic writing... following a series of photography patterns, we've had time in front of the camera, we've had a lot of pose-and-shows, we just want to keep our best look, and yet the lens gaze still makes us nervous.

Real Image First (part)
If you put the camera in the theater, you make it into a play in front of the camera, and you stand behind the character, and I'll be released.
Real Image is exploring this "new" approach, connecting the past, the present and the future, to revive the quest for "real" by means of photography, drama and psychology. Listening to the inner voice in the theatre, using the camera to reveal the subtext of life, feeling another self, like the photosynthesis of green plants, growing naturally.
1.2 Two-person drama, just to see you again.
The eight and a half parts of Real Image are a social art practice project launched by Zhang Sauhua and He Fa in June 2019 at P4 Theater. The slogan, "The drama of two people, only to see you again", was born over our desire to see, see and see the truth.

The recognition of "me" has always been a rather complex thing, leading us to explore, to grow and to build relationships with the world around us. The pursuit of "real" is also one of the main propositions in numerous areas, such as philosophy, science and the arts. Real Image is faced with an endless talk of exploring "me" more intuitively, in an artistic way, the visions of the fixed stage reveal the real spiritual world that lies deep in daily life and action, discovering the new possibilities of life in the span of time, so that it can face itself more easily and find new life.
Indeed, it is true that there is a real desire that cannot be articulated in our hearts.
It's like, a variety of transformations in which desire subsides in everyday life.
Desires are constantly revealed in the distance between exploring "real" and "like".

2.1 How to proceed

"Real Image" is a combination of eight dramatic operations. There are two roles
You - Real Image's "Intruder" in front of your cell phone screen, and Real Image's "Several" in possession of the camera.
In the gradual eight interactive theatre experiences, the intruders will travel with the separatists, with the eyes of the camera, inside and outside the stage, opening the senses and the heart, freeing me in the performances, walking through the images, completing deep and unique spiritual explorations in the visions and performances, and seeing the strange, familiar, new and easy again.
Real Image first scene

Real Image has a different set for each of the two chapters.
Time, light, sound, scenery, photography, performance relations, and passive conversion of the main audience.
There are static portraits, dynamic limbs, fixed frames, improvisation.
Each participant needs to move from the first to the next layer, increasingly challenging.
Each experience produces a photograph, which is the clue to the next one, which will be seen next time you come to P4 Theater.

The rules of each ministry will be revealed when the previous one is completed.
Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential, and you will be free to choose whether or not to continue with the next one, and you will have the right to decide whether your photo will be made public (the time chosen in the Real Image Agreement).

Real Image will convert "my mysterious traces of life" into "the precious history of permanent preservation" to be permanently stored in the Real Image Museum. If you choose not to continue with the next one, we'll send you the photos by postcard.
Real Image first stage.
Here's a brief introduction to Real Image's first part: See yourself in words.

(b) Gradually entering the situation through daily communication and communication, observing the surroundings or wandering
It then enters the black stage of the theatre, where the senses, feelings, wills, views return to different colors and completes a large picture.
In the first, you don't have to do any preparatory work, you just have to face yourself in good faith.

Appointments
3.1 On Fees
1. In addition to the two to three hours of experience of each Real Image, it will take more than a dozen hours of late-scanning production, in addition to human costs, as well as a range of expenses such as rent, utilities, film consumption, printing, plant production, theatre equipment, operational clean-up, etc., at a cost of $1,500 to $3,000 per department. The current fee for Real Image is much lower than the cost, and we'll use every 30 participants as a node to raise the experience price for Real Image.
2. Real Image is an art project that will last 20-30 years, and we take Real Image ' s creation very seriously, each time with the greatest effort and effort. We hope that the participants will also face it with a sincere attitude, that they will get something in such an exchange, rather than simply view the Real Image project as a simple photograph, and that a free break or late arrival will take a great deal of enthusiasm and energy into our hands, so we will use the ticket to make an appointment. Everything is worth it because you're worth it.
3. Each of the records used in Real Image is of different quality and, in order to achieve the best results, we have over the years conducted numerous experiments to choose the most appropriate method. 8x10 and 4x5 large picture cameras, large and medium chorus, tape recording equipment, 8mm philim film, and even the choice of film brands and papers used in each, are carefully scrutinized, washed with each brand-specific drug, and each experience-specific stage device, etc., all to achieve each experience is a real encounter, allowing time to return to what can be waited for. Each photo is a "physical" one that belongs only to you, unlike a digitally calculated virtual image on the screen that can be deleted or slipped to the next, and Real Image is a real object, a product of time.

4.1 Real Image Museum
We will build a museum as the most sincere record of 1,000 Real Image experientials, both historical and forward-looking. Everyone will have their own storage space, where there are traces of what they left behind in P4 Theater, where the film they filmed will be stored.
Museum collection
All Real Image film for each participant
It's what they say about their past or their future.
Keep their dreams and Real Image scripts.
Certificate of Real Image
There is also an agreement with P4 Theater, a power of disclosure as determined by the participants
Everyone has the right to store an object here, not to abandon it but not always to see it - emotional "remnant"; "The object" is anonymous and not to be given to anyone in public. We take a picture of it in Real Image, which can be displayed. The object will be on stage with Real Image.
This "Real Image Museum" consists of 1,000 black boxes and 1,000 keys, which connect two worlds, one white and one black.
Born to die, exist to be absent, to congesterate the moment into eternity, to experience the experience of writing, to accumulate the layers of experience, to suddenly erupt, to enlighten, to rise and fall, to reverse the time, to rewrite and to link the past to the future. Letting "not exist" be a journey that never ends, a journey of history and a writer of history, to believe in ourselves, in their own future and in the past, will end up in a beautiful necklace, a moving story, a wonderful journey.

P4 Theater Inner Space
P4 Theater was founded in 2005 by the artist Zhang Sauhua and He Fa.

The theatre is located 19.90 km north of the Beijing Central axis, the Tien An Gate.
It is a black box in the Beijing sculpture arts area, a fermentation that focuses on the integration of photography, theatre and psychology across the media. It currently has over 400 square metres of experimental theatres, art exhibitions, photo darkrooms, video screenings, educational lecture spaces and many art projects running throughout the year.
P4 Theater is a phantom time and space device, a mysterious place where memories travel, and a bright mirror that artists wear carefully. Every time you walk into the theater, you can see that you don't belong here.
Zhang Shuhua

After graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, he went to Beijing University to study psychology, was involved in commercial photography and was deeply involved in contemporary artistic creation, and worked to deepen psychological practice into artistic expression and to explore the cross-media integration of photography, theatre and psychology.

He Fa
After graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, he went to the California Institute of Arts and received a Master of Arts degree in the arts. As an artist, he wanted to invest more of his creative energy in social life to practice, explore and prove his own life trajectory.
In 2015, they created P4 Theater and launched a series of public events, such as "Real Image", "P4 screening", and "P4U" to create a field of practice and action in which "watch", "play" and "shoot" can go into life and allow everyone to express himself more freely.
