No physical experience.
Now we're going to throw a personal introduction at us.
You'll probably be involved in an introspective quest.
And get the chance to perform in the theater!

It's a retroactivity to the memory of the ancestors in their bodies.
This land, which is at our feet, has undergone a profound transformation in cultural and living realities since it was held hostage to modernization a hundred years ago. The mechanical industry has built an engine for social functioning, and a layered and subdivided structure of disciplines is constantly reinforcing our rational thinking, which is very different from the world view of the "psychologically and physically" "modely". The tide of globalization since the late twentieth century has also brought together more people from different social structures, working, living and influencing each other, so we have become more and more similar and mixed. However, the memory of life, which has accompanied the natural countryside for thousands of years, continues to flow deep into our veins and collide with modern societies. As a result, we are getting farther away from the past and the roots of our memories are becoming more blurred and confused.
We would like to join in the search for how many traces of our ancestors remain in the present society. Is it the inexhaustible sacrilegious writing of words, the phantom complex in television, the uncle and aunt in the park, or the breath of history in the ancient museum buildings? How they infiltrate our lives, hide in invisible places, and secretly influence our thoughts and preferences.
And the body carries all of this, stored it with the sole memory of each individual and passed it by blood. They are powerful and profound, far beyond our imagination.
In this experiment, we try to communicate with different individuals, find the traces of one or the same or different ancestors, raise more details in individual memories, give back to the body the senses and instincts of modern society, connect with the wisdom of the ancestors, and bring life to life.
Therefore, this will be a long-term exploration, and the current round of experiments will last for one month, culminating in a phased presentation in the form of a contemporary theatre performance. If you ask me what kind of contemporary theatre performance is? Everything is unknown, there may be images, there may be body appearances, but it's all found in your unique physical memory. We look forward to finding the answers with you if we want to know more details and come to the workshop.
【About the experiment】
This is a trip back to the memory about our ancestors.
Since globalization in the 20th century, we've been connected with each other much tighter by smartphones, Internet and modern transportation, and we're getting much more similar to each other than before. Many Chinese philosophies like Taoism are wide-spread in the world and inspire a great part of modern civilization. We want to find out how many traces of our ancestors are still hidden in our life, how they interact with different groups of people, and how they stay in our bodies and influence our mind.
Therefore, the experiment will be a long-term exploration with the aim of connecting individuals with different background to find out the secret code of our ancestors in our bodies. This recruitment is for the first stage of the experiment, and we'll display the outcome for this stage through a theatre performance.
Who are we looking for?
If you
• A strong interest in and knowledge of Chinese ancestral wisdom (Chinese medicine, Tai Chi, classical literature, traditional art, etc.)
I'm interested in exploring the memory stored in my body.
• Being able to participate in daily experiments and final performances one or two times a week within one month of the date of recruitment for the workshop (2021.1.3) (experiment time, depending on the circumstances, is 2021.1.31; location is P4 Theater)
There is no physical/dancing experience, no limitation on nationality, sex, age, occupation, physical appearance, and if you are welcome to join us in recruiting with a story you most want to share.

◎Interested in the wisdom of Chinese ancestors and have much knowledge about it, such as TCM, Taiichi, traditional Chinese literature and art......
◎ Able to join us once or twice a week in the following month in our experiment, we will start the workshop on 2021.1.3 and perform on 2021.1.31 in Beijing.
