On 31 October, the fifth drama of the P4 Theater, the Cocoon Room, a dance theatre on prejudice, will be welcomed.

In September, the director, Iowa Hoang and Io, finalized a schedule in the theatre, and in early October, he started recruiting all the actors with a whip, and on 16 October he officially began an uninterrupted demon rehearsal, looking forward to the final show at the end of the month in a tense production of day and night.

01

It's part of the ordinary.

It's not an ordinary moment.

The magic of the theatre is not simply that it creates illusions that drag people into the frame of the scene, so that they drown, cleanse them, make them cry or laugh. There is also a deeper secret in the theatre, a witness, about being present, about creation, about the unexpected or accidental break-up of time and space. That's why P4 Theater did everything to explore.

It can't just happen on stage, under the author's pen, in the actor's lines and in the dancer's body, it can just as well appear in a random chat face bag, in the cameraman's picture, in a violent tore-up debate, in an unexpected cold-eyed glimpse, which triggers one moment after another.

The production of Cocoon House this time, involving nearly 20 people, is the largest and biggest challenge for P4 Theater today. There is nothing more romantic than a stranger who enters the theatre because of a recruitment or coincidence, abandoning all available leisure and entertainment for an extremely limited period of time, and even partly sacrificing his studies, his work, his opportunity to perform.

02

Distinguished from a template performance

It's no ordinary show.

The night of 31 October was a recruiting day for the audience, and when there was only one performance, it was a unique moment, as if it would not come again and again, but it could or did not come. We are waiting for a time of collective entry, a point where we are expected to look together, to look together, to prepare together, to break through a cage that we once knew, a cocoon that had to be blown to pieces and reborn.

Actors, dancers, lights, records, directors, directors, propaganda, curators, viewers, props, theatres, and productions need to get into this melting furnace, and we wait and see.

There will always be surprises, there will be surprises, there will always be surprises, there will always be surprises, there will be encounters with those who have not met themselves. On this journey everyone will find his own direction, improvise to believe in his body, go out and prove that life is alive, go to love everyone who has not been loved by you, go to those whom you have refused once and for all, breathe seriously and then open every inch of his skin to believe in yourself.

03

Sliding over and over again.

Not a simple stand.

No one can judge so easily! Equality and respect are the first steps to trust!

The theatre stage is very slippery, and the actors have a lot of rehearsals on the stage, let alone dance moves, and it's easy to slip, fall, fall, fall again, rise again, do it over and over again.

Every day of rehearsal is a challenge, and everyone is, and everyone is, moving forward in a difficult way in questioning and questioning.

I can't, I'm late, I'm sick, I'm cold, I'm tired, I don't want to go on stage, I'm sorry, I'm so cool, I'm hungry, I have to go on a date, I can't eat, I can't eat, I can do it, I can do it, I can go on?

He can, he can't, he's late, he's too late, he's too late. What's he thinking, he can't do this to me. He's so pretty, he's so thin, he's so stupid, he can be so much better than me, he can't do anything, he's so annoying, he's got so much light in his eyes, he's spying on me, he's too tough, he has a hole in his socks, what is he thinking?

It's not easy to keep going, but it's necessary!
